Demotech criteria 'Social Relevant Technology' or similar to a certain extend to 'Appropriate Technology'

Democratic control on means, methods and target depends on:
Social Relevant Technology.

It maximizes:

  • effectivenes, comfort, durability, and by its use by its use increases freedom and personal satisfaction.
  • personal influence on production and use
  • smallest scale production and use

It minimizes (or avoids):

  • energy use(even durable)
  • Environmental use (next to zero)
  • commercial product and service- promotion based on subconscious persuasion
  • need for capital investment for production of goods and -services
  • need for copyright or private ownership of information

How a social relevant technology relates to existing technologies:
Traditional technology has to be updated (as) to replacecraftmanship or materials that are at present not anymore (ready) available. Partial redesign of traditional techniques aimes at the upkeep of the inner balance with minimized change.
It may also analyze such techniques to create modules for (assembling) new techniques that have traditional characteristics.
Modern technology could be redesigned to merge it intellectualinvestment with the present moral and ecological issues.
Information technologies have to be further developed toward aminimized use of computer hardware. It must maximize its directpractical usefullness (i.e. not only serving burocraticstructures). It has to develop into a new technology that has nointernal tendency to escape democratic control.
