What we are looking for and what is listed here

The information that is listed here relates to the recycling of urine and feaces, as it will be collected in the BathRoomBox. On the item of composting feaces with some of the urine, much information can be found, as is shown below.
However we need to tackle the harder problem of finding information on extracting the nutrients from urine. To be in practice applicable as fertilizer, nutrients from urine should become transportable as a dry powder and not as a liquid. Even more innovative development it will take when the process to produce dry fertilizer from urine, has to be small scale and should need little investment.
The following items indicate the direction of this search:

1. Information on the quantity in weight and volume of the different compounds in urine and feces measured per person per day.
2. Information on the density of people living in the slums of big cities in poor countries. We should get a rough idea of the area that can be served by one treatment plant of urine and feaces. This area will relate to the maximum distance to the treatment plant that is still practical for the collectors to cover.
3. Information on the process to turn urine and feces into an agricultural fertilizer with the use of algae.
4. Other information related to the BathroomBox project.
