In many bedroom's parents sleep together with there children, although this is not necessary when looking at the quantity of rooms.

Some beds are decorated.

Looking at this bed, with a child that is ill, it appears that decorated beds are not strictly a matter for the rich. I can not easily find a connection between the few decorated beds I've seen. Maybe it's a matter of taste.

Most beds seem to be straight forward. All had mattresses, although I do not know the quality. Sleeping in hammocks is only for weird gringos like me.
