It depends a lot per household, but many are rather chaotically organised. They also don't seem to care about it a lot. In order not to insult people I did not ask why it was such a mess. It's a well made guess that aesthetics seem to be more important in clothing than in housing. The subject of clothing is to extensive to handle in the context of this research.

Maybe because of the importance of cloths they are generally stored in rather well made and beautiful wardrobes. Normally this wardrobe is in the bedroom. Off course if the family can afford it.

The pots and pans in the majority of the kitchens that I saw are hung on the wall.

Some houses also have closets for storing dishes. Households than don't have that usually store there dishes in the 'pila'.

Houses that have something like a living room often also have beautiful closets.

Many houses have open closets to store there trade ware for the market. Also these are closets for general storage.

Domingo's uncle, the owner of the house, plays in the church band. The way he stores his instruments wouldn't be my preferred method.

Many houses have a 'bodega' (magazijn), where the men store there tools, fertilizers, seeds and materials. Not to offend, but without exception they are a bloody mess. It seems that the stuff had been thrown in from a large distance.
